Ceremonial Cacao
Ingredients
40g ceremonial grade cacao ( block)
3/4 cup of boiled water
1 tbsp maple syrup
Method
Grate or shave the cacao paste - this will be easier with cold hands
Add to a saucepan of boiling water.
Stir to combine and melt cacao through water and let it simmer for 3 minutes once melted, whisking mix occasionally.
Once melted, remove the saucepan from the heat.
Taste. If the mix is too strong add a little more water.
